Lightbox and Capture

Just upgraded 5.62 -> 6

To use the Lightbox you need to enable IM.

To use Capture you need to enable GD2.

Am I reading this correctly that if you enable IM you can't have Capture, and vice versa?

I enabled IM on my dev site and saw no difference. What should I see?

Bob

Your server just needs to have GD2 to use CAPTCHA. Thats all You can use Imagemagick for images and still use CAPTCHA.

Thanks. I have changed Imaging Integration from GD2 to IM and enabled Lightbox. What should I now see. I have this on my vB forum and I don't see any difference here.

CAPTCHA is the registration image verification. Thats the only difference you see as far as that.

What changes are you expecting to see?

I know about Captcha, but is Lightbox working? It is not as I have seen on some other sites using Lightbox.

If you turn on lightbox under Show Photo Options in Admin it should be working yes.

Link to your site?

You need to have use popup window set to yes and use lightbox set to yes and have the lightbox width height set to say 1000 or so.

Use lightbox integration? = Yes
Width to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? = 900
Height to trigger lightbox integration (if enabled)? = 600

Try a larger size in the like 1000 and 1000 in lightbox triggers and please ensure this is the latest downloaded code.

How do we make the lightbox auto fit to the screen? Right now its way to large and you have to scroll like crazy to even see the close button. Should use the light box that has click anywhere on the photo to close.

Please help me change code to auto fit to window.

Thanks!

Lightbox code is release under the GPL licensing. I guess you could ask them how to change their code there. We do not provide support for 3rd party software. We have included this feature at users requests only.

What functionality does the Lightbox integration provide under the "Upload Photo Options" section of the admincp?

Anyone know how to get the previous and next buttons to work with photopost and lightbox? I got the box to always fit to screen but now I need the previous and next functions to actually work.

Once I get this all figured out I will post nice instructions for everyone.

Is this correct?

Your either using the bigpopup screen or lightbox depending on the trigger sizes. Those settings will vary depending on your specific image size restrictions.

When you open a photo with lightbox in the gallery it is not linked to the previous and next image. Does that actually work in photopost or not?
