Problem with category layout after i upgrade from 5.62 to 6.0

Hi guys,

I sent this to support 3 days ago but haven't heard back:

I have installed version 6 of photopost.

Copied across my version 5.62 data and uploads directory and also my configuration files confic-inc.php and confic-int.php.

I then ran the upgrade.php with no problems.

Their seems to be a problem with categories: http://www.joshandfriends.com.au/photos/

And although the images display correctly http://www.joshandfriends.com.au/pho...php/photo/8890 the categorie links in the top of the photo are incorrect:

Please advise?

Thanks,

Josh

Have you gone in and edited a category? This is all I did.. go into Members gallery and edit it.. but don't change anything, just press save. This fixed it for us.

Your category information was stuck in your cache and would not refresh. You simply did a category refresh when you refresh your cats thats why it worked cause if reloaded all the info.

Hello Chuck. Are you saying this is an issue with our browser or with the database? If you are saying browser, I'll have to disagree strongly, as we opened this in IE on my husband's machine, which is a program he never uses and has never viewed our site with.

Isn't it kinda suspect how it's sticking for multiple folks?

It is definately because your using the category cache. If you do an upgrade and your category cache is off you dont get this error which is why alot of people dont see this. I did an upgrade yesterday with someone who was using the category cache. Hense I think it in the upgrade all we need to do is call to refresh the cache.

Not a problem yeah the category cache is an array stored in the cache table well after you upgrade obviously the categories table and number of entries have changed so what happens is the array doesnt quite match so it needs to be refreshed.
