problems plugging into vBulletin

I have PhotoPost pro (newest version) and vBullein 3.6.8 and I was having problems getting the user groups working. I found a place to input the vBulletin license number into PhotoPost. I did that and now all usergroups seem to have gone away. I can't log in as admin and I can't upload anything.

Any ideas?

Okay I ran through your install delete that file off your server and try logging in as admin and see if you can get in. If that does not help out let me know.

Thanks Chuck. What was the issue?

Tied into this issue is an original problem.

When I click the "Refresh usergroups from your forum software?" link, nothing happens. It doesn't go into vBulletin to get the list of user groups that I have added. Any help on this?

You can email support@photopost.com with a vb admin login if you wish us to try this function out. You have usergroups that where imported because you have admin access which is part of the confusion here. If that function was not working and importing usergroups you would not get into admin. Let us sign in and see what we can do to assist.

How is it supposed to work? It's pulling over the default usergroups (registered, admin, moderator, etc), but it's not pulling over the custom usergroups like "banned", "Gold", "silver", etc.

Should it pull over all of these? I'm running PhotoPost Pro, should I consider the vbGallery? I'm not sure what the difference is. My goal is to allow different groups to have different access levels, different file limits, etc.

... plus, when I log into as admin to PhotpPost, I am no longer able to access the website. I have to log out of PhotoPost and then I can get back into the website under my user account. Is that normal?

I would suggest you send an email with the information asked in my last post to the email posted there so we can assist you with this. Photopost imports vb usergroups etc if things are correct.
