vbulletin Integration

ok. I have installed PhotoPost and tried to integrate it with vBulletin 3.6.5. Everything seems to go fine. However, when I attempt to load any of the website pages, it only shows blank pages. This is my forums site: http://forums.origanime.com and this is my Photopost site: http://photos.origanime.com?

I have double-checked the path for the forums and the database, username and password information and everything seems fine. I have used a phpinfo page and the page loads fine. If I turn off the VB3_INTEGRATION in the config-int.php, it seems like text from PhotoPost application shows in the page.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Just some extra information. Right now, I have the site showing. However, I had to turn off vb style and css dynamiz integration. Doing this, it allowed me to login to the admin page. When I did that, I noticed that the path shown for the different paths configuration appeared as: x:mydirsubdir instead of x:/mydir/subdir. In addition, if I went to Integration Options, changed the settings and then click saved, I noticed that the system added more extra slashes to the path so it appeared as x://MyDir//Subdir.

I think I know what is causing the problem. I have downloaded the version of PHP vBulletin that uses .html as file extension instead. What can I do to solve the issue. I do not mind changing the whole PhotoPost to use .html extensions but I want to make sure that this is supported.

Well .. For those of you that may having the same problem, I seem to have solved it. I used Bk ReplaceEm in order to replace all .php instances inside the .php and .tmpl files. Then I renamed all the .php file to .html using Better File Rename and the problems have been solved. See my site: http://photos.origanime.com I am having some issues displaying images and proper URLs for some links but they are pretty easy to fix by putting static URLs in the header and footer of vBulletin templates. Then, I made sure that my web server could use the php.dll for .html files and TADA!!!

BTW, before I did all this, I disabled the VB3_INTEGRATION and logged in to the Admin and fixed a lot of the paths saved under the ALL OPTIONS Settings. For some reason, the application either put extra slashes, deleted needed slashes from the path or even put /forum as part of the setting even though the config-int and the config-inc files where showing the correct intended path.

Sounds to me like your server has PHP issues. There should not be any need to alter any of our scripts or rename them html files so this would be a problem with your server you need to correct

The server does not have any issues. Having the files using .html extension instead of .php extensions was done intentionally. vBulletin allows you to download the application files using many different file extensions including php, htm, html, ext (eventhough the backend programming is still php). If I have files named register.html and your application is calling register.php, it obviously will not find the file. That is the reason for all the renaming.

Any way, after I did all that, the site seems to be working fine except for few little things that I am posting in a different thread.

Do things as you wish but altering our PHP code can keep you from obtaining product support until such time as you upload clean unaltered files.

Look, I was not trying to complain about the software or anything else. I was giving my two cents just in case someone else ran into the problem. In addition, I thought that it may help improve the software.

Regarding what you mention above, when I purchase this software, I was told that it would integrate with vBulletin. If I don't modify the files as mentioned, PhotoPost won't integrate with my vBulletin installation. My vBulletin was purchased using .html extensions and if you program is looking for php extension files, then your program won't work.

BTW, You can verify what I am saying by trying to download a new version of vbulletin. When you download, it asks you what version you want. Mine is .html.
