Installation Problems.

Hi everyone, I didnt think this would be so difficult to install.

I have so many errors,

Currently running phpBB current version and trying to add photo post Classifieds, I want to use my existing forum database and integrate it like it says I can in all our your instructions.

At step 4 configuring, I have the following errors:

up top right of screen


Error: Table 'cp_usergroups' already exists
Error: Duplicate entry '1' for key 1
Error: Duplicate entry '2' for key 1
Error: Duplicate entry '3' for key 1

Then further down:

Error: Are you certain that your database prefix is set properly?
I cannot see your phpBB2 "groups" table.

The prefix setting adds characters to the front of phpBB2 table names - please doublecheck this.


My data base is called mlptpne_phpbb1

I tried to then open

http://www.mlptp.net/pp-classifieds/adm-index.php

and got even more error messages,

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/mlptpne/public_html/pp-classifieds/forums/sellerspost.php on line 248

I then tried to login, using my server login, the info given in the photo post email, I tried everything and no matter what I do, I just get redirected to something called www.domain.com and asked if Id like to use their hosting . I have my own host and dont need them, and dont understand why Im being I redirected off site, and why so many horrible errors..

I have followed the instructions, it all sounded so simple yet Im now facing a full restore of my forum database ( luckily I backed that up first)

Can someone help me with these errors.

On step 4 you have not entered the correct phpbb table prefix and this is no doubt your issue

You need to ensure on the config step you enter the correct database info under user database to phpbb's database then on step 4 it asks the myql prefix of phpbb2 tables. This prefix is found right in your phpbb config file. It is usually phpbb_ just like the cookie prefix is phpbb2mysql

Thanks Chuck, you are correct, It was phpbb_. I still have some errors after that, though photopost classifieds is working. So far its using the forums database as planned. Im just reading through posts currently to work out how to integrate it completely.

Yes see your other post probally due to cookies

phpbb2mysql is the cookie prefix for phpbb and should be entered where asked on step 4 of install
