Separate photopost from VB

I currently have a PhotoPost intallation that I want to remove the VB integration so I have stand alone PhotoPost install. Is there somewhere I can find instructions on how to make this change? I can run a new install but I want to be sure to keep the photo database information? What is the easiest way to get this job done?

Thanks,
Larry

Not a real way to do with this without you writing an import script to take your vb users and import them to Photopost. When we integrate with a forum the users come from the forum.

Plenty of threads on switching integration here but before you do that you need to ponder the big problem above

I also have an aMember integration that manages the member database so I think I will not have a problem with the member issue. I can rebuild the membership database from aMember as long as all of the categories, usergroups, etc. do not get changed with the change in integration. I have been running with VB integration off but I want to get rid of the rest of the VB components if possible.

Thanks,
Larry

I can not really guarantee anything will work because we are talking amember here not Photopost. As far as separating just lea ve things alone in Photopost except clear your usergroups table in Photopost and rerun install.php

You can then do all your amember stuff but remember to get users into Photopost you do whatever you need to in amember

Is there a reason that I need to clear the usergroups table?

What if I made a copy of the existing vb-pp database, remove all of the vb tables (both vb and pp are in the same database), and then ran the install with no vb integration using the new database name?

Thanks again,
Larry

You would lose all your users since the users are from vbulletin and not Photopost hense you would be all messed up which is why I noted you must create a script to import those users before you can take the steps outlined in the forums here on SWITCH INTEGRATION
