Did you overwrite you config file? This seems logically what you did. If so edit the config file and place the proper info for your install in there

I uploaded the newest config file after editing it with the correct paths, db name, password, etc....

How about the correct table prefix for the tables ;)

hrrrmmm.... i left the default one... where would I find that info as my old config file did not have it.... i'm like 2 years behind on upgrading :)

Chuck S April 5th, 2007 08:43 PM

You can try viewing your database and verify this info and double check the config. I can not tell your whats wrong only that it is not right by your error

I got it fixed Chuck... thanks...

Ill try to get this finished and report my next error as soon as I come across it :)

Chuck S April 6th, 2007 03:44 PM

ok no problems

NSXTC April 6th, 2007 03:45 PM

Well actually it seems like my system keeps timing out at 'upgrade=55&step=1'

It ran for like 2 hours and then timed out.... is that correct?

NSXTC April 6th, 2007 06:40 PM

Chuck, here's what im left with:

I edited config-int.php manually through FTP.... got that working fine and my integration looks fine.... now when I click on admin i am unable to access my admin control panel...

Also, all images and thumbnails are there but i get the default thumbnail image and a red X when I try to view the actual image...

Any help man?

What do you mean you can not get into admin?

Yor paths in global and storage options are wrong if you can not see thumbs. You need to get into admin to fix that.

Let me know more info about your admin issue

NSXTC April 6th, 2007 09:06 PM

Ok I was able to get into admin cp.... im going to work on the paths.... is it safe to say that url paths should have a trailing slash and server paths should not?

Chuck S April 7th, 2007 06:28 PM

No

server path to your data directory is the only one that has a trailing slash nothing else should

NSXTC April 8th, 2007 05:09 PM

Chuck, I give up... all my paths appear to be correct but I'm getting no images. Im assuming this has something to do with all my timeouts during the upgrade. The site also appears to take forever to load any pages in the gallery even though images aren't loading. I dont know what else to do except start all over

Chuck S April 8th, 2007 06:25 PM

what is a url to an image? url to your gallery

NSXTC April 8th, 2007 07:49 PM

http://www.louisianaclubscene.com/galleries

PS - Looks like all 69,000 images got deleted when attempting to rebuild thumnails and medium images :/

I still see them when I FTP in, but the gallery says 0 exist

Chuck S April 9th, 2007 11:06 AM

Your path to the data directory is wrong it would appear then or severe permissions errors

Naaah, the path is correct and all the permissions are set correctly according to the manual. This happened once before to another site and you fixed it. I just can't remember what you did. :/

Chuck S April 9th, 2007 02:48 PM

No doubt fixed the path issue ;) I replied to your other thread so lets keep the discussion there

Ok thats fine, but keep in mind that both threads are not for the same site. I have 2 sites with 2 different (but somewhat similar) problems.
