Path To Forum Directory During Install

During the installation, the installer asks for the path to the forum directory. The installer autofills that field with a path like /var/www/html/gallery/forum

Is the installer wanting the path to the actual forums or the forums directory within the gallery directory??

It is kinda confusing.

Thanks!

It is asking for the path to your forums

We can only suggest a path based off the install path therefore it is always up to the user to enter the proper path. Number one mistake people make when installing I can tell you that. They do not verify it is correct.

That is my point...the installer only asks for the path to the forum directory (it does not specify which). There is a forum directory within the gallery files which the installer autofills with the path to.

That path asks you to input the path to your vbulletin forum

Those options are only for vbulletin 3, 2, or vbportal 2 as stated

I understand, however, the installer does not specify that information...just asks for the forum directory...which could be the actual forums, or the forum directory within the gallery directory.
