| Invalid file type error
Hi
After a fresh install of the most recent version, I get this error message when I try to upload any file type: Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet.
Any ideas about what I did wrong?
Thanks

A url and login as well as more info about what type of server setup this is would help
Usually the first thing to check is to ensure that your data and uploads directories are set to 777 permissions at every level and that safe mode is off on the server.

Safe mode is:
Directive Local Value Master Value
safe_mode On Off
All those directories are chmod 777. The files I tried to upload are located under uploads/1...
I would be happy to give you those credentials, shall I PM you?
Thanks
Jose

You need to turn off safe mode since the requirements to run the program state safe mode needs to be off.

Ok, got it. Now I can upload .gif files but with .jpg files I get this message:
Unable to read the format of file: /var/www/vhosts/clubedobrilho.org/httpdocs/data/501/medium/IMG_0008.jpg
Any more ideas? |

Yes, that's correct. What I now found is that if I upload under Home » Member Galleries » detalhe
The thumbnails don't show but if I upload to Home » Main » A Category
They DO show

Okay so check the directories under data/500 and make sure they are 777
You should be getting an error if it can not create the thumbnail
