Blank page at Uploadphoto

I have a new install with Photopost pro and I am getting the blank page at the uploadphoto.php. Pictures are in the upload folder but never make it to the viewing stage. I have looked at the numerous posts that have had similar problems and I have tried:
1) changing the memory size on pp-inc.php to 32, 48, 64. as suggested in other posts
2) cleared all uploads in the upload directory
3) verified Photopost install guides recommended permissions on the directories after installation
4) reinstalled Photopost
I ran phpinfo on my website and my ISP (earthlink) only has GD1 installed.
Any suggestions as to what to look for or do next will be appreciated.
Thanks

You have added the memory_limit override and cleared your uploads directory?

You should be fine then if not post a site link phpinfo link and test login here

Thanks for looking Chuck,
I changed the filesize limit and it still would not upload. I noticed when I updated the usergroups from the forum database (phpbb2) it would overwrite the settings in photopost to that 1K limit even after I had increased it to 10000k or 0 ( no limit) file sizes for the admin groups. I think I will reinstall the Photopost as a stand alone instead of trying to integrate with the forum software and see if it works then. If not I will be back. Thanks

Chuck,
I reinstalled Photopost, set permissions, set pp-inc.php to 64 M, and looked for any other posts that might address this issue but I still get a blank page when I try to upload photos, but the photo uploads and it will show as queue. Feel free to create a logon on the above link to Photopost and see if you can advise me as to what to do next. Thanks

Okay reupload all your templates and core PHP files except the config files. Looks to me like possibly a corrupt file upload.

Please also post a PHPINFO file link here so we can see your php info. See if your server error log has any more info so we can assist here as well. A white page is way too generic an error to assist.

I reuploaded the files you mentioned. The change log and alert log are the only logfiles I have access to. The alert log had no alerts in it, the change log just showed the database installation for photopost.
Here is a link for phpinfo. Thanks

eww thats a weird system setup. You have a newer PHP only configured with a way old GD version

Well I suspect your probally have the system set to use maybe GD2 not GD1

Make sure in global options you set your processor to GD1. You can then if you have access to change your PHP.INI file since it seems to be altered anyway set display_errors to On so we can see the true error here. No doubt it is because your image processor does not work

I verified that global options was indeed set to GD1. I contacted the web host support for Earthlink and explained what you said in the last post. They said that the GD1 was an old version and their "system engineers" plan on upgrading to GD2 but had no idea when. As far as the PHP.INI I have no access. The earthlink support person said their "system engineer" had reported no errors or problems related to GD or PHP. Any thing else I can do or do I need to start looking for a new web host? Thanks

As your host to turn on php's DISPLAY ERRORS variable temporarily so you can see your sites true error when trying to upload

I contacted earthlink (of India) tech support again and they are not willing to turn on php's DISPLAY ERRORS variable for me. They said there is a plan to upgrade their GD1 to GD2 in the future but no date is given. Can ImageMagick be successfully installed with my limited access or should I be looking for a new web host. Thanks again

You can only install Imagemagick with SSH ACCESS

I would find another host personally. I would love to assist with any problem you have but your hosts unwillingness in letting you know the errors that the server is saying give us nothing to work with.

You can email support@photopost.com with the admin login and we can see how you have it set and such but with out errors that is about all I can do
