pp-inc.php error after php upgrade

I have just upgraded to php 5.2 and get this error:

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/path/to/php/headtags.htm) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/mysite/:/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/) in /home/mysite/domains/mysite.com/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 564

How do I fix this?

Your site has open_basedir set to on so you can not have bogus paths so in admin global options remove those bogus paths to headtags etc

In admin global options as I noted remove the bogus paths out of the headtags line
