Error on Install

On installation, I am choosing to integrate with vBulletin (3.6.4) and I keep getting an error around step 3 and 4.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I've checked and double checked and yes, the database information is correct. The odd thing is, it puts all of the appropriate tables in the database and then throws this error.

my server specs (meets all requirements outlined in "requirements" page:
PHP Version 4.3.11
safe_mode: off
GD Version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

MySQL:
Client API version: 3.23.49

Like I said, I put in all database info correct because it does put in the pp_* tables. So it is connecting...

Ok well I solved my problem. The installation instructions are confusing. Because I want to integrate with vBulletin, it threw the error. View my attachment. It says on step 1 (the second place to put your db info)

User Database Host (enter same info as above if not integrating with a third party forum):

I followed the instructions and left it blank, because it says "if NOT integrating". that's what was throwing the error. I wanted to see if i could exhaust all options, so i chose to go ahead and enter in my database information again (even tho the directions say not to), and my install was perfect.

the instructions are a bit mis-leading, IMO.

You must always fill out both spots.

The config says if your databases are the same put the same info in the user portion. I dont see anywhere in our instructions that it says leave it blank.

You need to put your photopost databases info in the photopost database portion and in the user database portion you place your vbulletin database info.
