Server Error Uploading

I get this error on my server log and it does not upload

PHP Warning: upload_max_filesize of 2097152 bytes exceeded - file [theimage[]=D:\2007_01_29\IMG_0531.JPG] not saved in Unknown on line 0

Does this have to do with a photopost setting?

Nope thats your PHP warning telling you someone tried to upload a filesize larger than 2mb so not specifically a photopost error but a server one. You can edit your php.ini file and change that setting to a higher number or ask your host to do it. Photopost is limited by your server settings.

I edited the php.ini to a higher limit

upload_max_filesize = 3M ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files

but I still get the error at 2mb, does the host need to do something else?

That would depend on there server setup. You sure you rebooted your server and your PHP info says its now 3 mb?

Well I am not too sure about the host but I edited the ini file.

As for the server they would have to reboot it.

I will wait a few days and try it again.

Thanks

You can see what the upload limit is by viewing your PHPINFO in admin

Just out of curiousity does the whole image need to uploaded before it resizes it to a smaller filesize.

And yes even though I changed the ini file to 3Mb the PHP Info still shows 2Mb. I will have to contact the host.

FYI, I had to copy the PHP.INI from root directory to my photopost directory and now it shows the upload limit to where I set it in the ini file.

Thanks
