I did everything by the book...

and it doesn't work.

This isn't fun. I'm running vBullentin 3.6.4. I installed PP-Classifieds 2.6 a few weeks ago with no problems.

I absolutely followed every installation instruction to the letter... about 15 times now. What's happening here???

I get these warnings all over the place. Somtimes the line is 515 instead of 32:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/major/public_html/photopost/forums/vb3.php on line 32

Here's some more warnings:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/major/public_html/photopost/forums/vb3.php on line 66

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started a /home/major/public-html/photopost/forums/vb3.php on line 245

//I also get the above warning with line 249 and 252

You can see the instalation at: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/photopost

Looks to me like you installed with either the wrong database information in the config for your vb database or on step 4 you entered the incorrect table prefix for your vb tables.

Just rerun the install and enter the correct info

Nope that's not it. I've run the install about 10 times now with the same results.

The vBulletin data base is named: major_forums
It has a database prefix of 'vb'

The PP-classifieds data base is named: major_ppclassifieds
No database prefix

The Photopost data base is named: major_photopost
No database prefix

The PP-classifieds installation works fine. The Photopost does not. I'm using VB3 integration and the PP-classifieds works fine. I'm sure I've done everything corectly and I still get these warnings.

I might add that I cannot access the Photpost admin panel. I don't know what to do next since I've deleted the photpost data base and recreated/reinstalled quite a few times now with the same results.

I'm officially confused.

I would bet big money if you properly selected vb3 as your integration your issue had to do with the database settings as I noted Glad you got it fixed.

It was late last night. I deleted the config files and replaced them with the unaltered ones. I deleted the database and recreated it. Then I did a fresh install and it worked. It must have been what you said it was, but I wouldn't be able to prove it...... ever try getting something fixed, then all of a sudden it works and you're not quite sure what you did to fix it?? ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

However, all is not well. I was under the impression that this would work without ImageMagick installed.... I have the GD2. It worked with PP-Classifieds.

I get errors when attempting to upload photos. I've ordered the install service to get the ImageMagick installed on my server. I'm not sure what I have to do next or what is required of me from this point.

Can the Imagemagick be installed after Photopost or does the whole thing need to be redone?

Now I'm really confused. This is a quote from your web site that I just saw:

"(remember: PhotoPost only needs EITHER ImageMagick OR GD2, not both) "

I selected GD2 during the installation. Is there something else I need to do? Everthing to do with photos works in my PP-Classifieds installation. There must be something missing that wasn't covered in the installation.

Here's the error I get when trying to upload a photo:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Command:

"" +profile "*" -size 84x100 -quality 70 -geometry 84x100 -unsharp 10 '/home/major/public_html/photopost/data/502/thumbs/CB.jpg'

Try going into the photopost admin section and re-choosing gd2, it sounds like either it didnt take in the config file or you did not choose it originaly.

Thanks! That worked.

Chuck does this mean I get my $59 back? ......Now that I figured out I really don't need ImageMagick installed.
