Path to PhotoPost Installation ?

Sorry about my bad english, I hope you understand anyway

I have big problems wit the installation of PhotoPost Pro.

I got a lot of errors like this:

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_categories (id,catname, description, catorder, thumbs, parent, children) VALUES (1,'Main','',2,'no',0,'2')]
Result: Duplicate entry '1' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_categories (id,catname,description,catorder,thumbs,parent,children) VALUES (2,'A Category','Photos of a particular subject',1,'yes',1,'')]
Result: Duplicate entry '2' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_categories (id,catname, description, catorder, thumbs, parent, children) VALUES (500,'Member Galleries','Individual user galleries - any photo category',1,'yes',0,'')]
Result: Duplicate entry '500' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_settings VALUES (1,'Title for your PhotoPost Application','galleryname','','My Photo Gallery',1,1)]
Result: Duplicate entry '1' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_settings VALUES (2,'Web site name','webname','','My Website',2,1)]
Result: Duplicate entry '2' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_settings VALUES (3,'Your Website URL (include http://)','domain','','http://www.domain.com',3,1)]
Result: Duplicate entry '3' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_settings VALUES (4,'Administrator Email Address','adminemail','','admin@domain.com',4,1)]
Result: Duplicate entry '4' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

Step 3: MySQL error reported: [INSERT INTO pp_settings VALUES (5,'URL to PhotoPost data directory','datadir','This is the web / virtual path to the data directory.','http://www.domain.com/photopost/data',5,1)]
Result: Duplicate entry '5' for key 1
Database: blaende8_dk

And lot more similar.

I´m sure that I wrote the path to Photohost installation in the right way.

What would it look like?
My website name are www.blande8.dk and I have copied all the files to the root of this.
Would I have to write the full path like www.blaende8.dk/
or only blaende8.dk?

I have tried everything now so please help - I´m new to this.

Regards
Klaus

duplicate errors mean you have already tried running the install script. I would suggest you run the install once through entirely

I have tried have tried that many times.
When I come to the last screen after I get this:

Installation error
We're sorry, but we encountered an error during the installation process...

Unable to create/write to /blaende8.dk/data! Check your data directory permissions before continuing.

When you have fixed your permissions Refresh this page to try again.

If you have corrected the error, you may hit GO BACK and try again.

Our install instructions are here. You need to chmod the data and uploads directories and all there subdirectories to 777 per these instructions

I have done that 100 times, but now it is working.
It was the path that were wrong.
The path the program suggest seems to work, but I think it looks a littel weird - it looks like this:

/customers/blaende8.dk/blaende8.dk/httpd.www/data/

I don´t understand this because I don´t have a folder with the name "customers" ???
And what about the "httpd.www" what does that mean???

You need to use whatever the true full path is and if that path works no doubt it is the correct one

As noted the path we suggest in the config is the proper path to photopost. I have responded to your other thread and you need to give more info if it is not what I have posted.

Of course I replied to the users issue which is path problem. If your referring to you installing more than once of course your going to have mysql duplicate errors cause your tables and settings exist already. That is not going to affect an install.
