I don't know what the "serious error" is. That is all that photopost reveals. Here is another gem that is being produced now:

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

Well, the serious error is probably because the upgrades haven't been completed; before you can use this version, you have to complete all the upgrades. Did you continue past the 5.1 upgrade?

Yes, I reloaded the upgrade.php script and picked up where it left off and went all the way through to the end. Now the gallery is partially functional. If you click on a link of the front page, you get the error listed below. Can you provide any additional means to get more information about this "serious error" and how to resolve?

Change your debug level (Global Options, I believe) to print error so you can see what error is occurring; I suspect one of the upgrades may have been missed or was incomplete.

Thanks for the help guys. It's much appreciated. My hosting company played a big part as well and I would recommend alphaomegahosting.com to anyone looking for some hard workers to host their installation.

I have one problem left but I'll leave that for another post. THANKS!
