i screwed up on instalation

i am new at this and i was thinking i had an errow upon install cause i had an error with the cookie settings ( as i found out after by reading in here ) it would tell me to login so i did then it would say that i wasnt loged in after i did. so i tried to reinstall and now i totally screwed it up now i only get a blank page when running the config-inc.php script i did remove the .new off of it . so after reading here i was thinking i may have screwed up something in the tables in SQL so my question is how do i erase the tables with out messing up my forums ( i already did that once and finally got it up and running again).

Looks to me on install you entered something incorrect

http://www.justjetboats.com/photopost/index.php

It doesnt even find Photopost

You might want to rerun install and trace back and correct any incorrect info.

I dont see where you have set vb3 enhanced integration on

On install did you specify your cookie prefix of bb? Did you input the proper vb license number on config? These two would keep you from logging in.

Your vb cookies should be set like this

cookie domain /

cookie prefix bb this is in your vb config file

cookie domain .justjetboats.com

what is that ???????

i changed the settings and now it is not seeing any registered users and wont let me log in

Chuck S December 21st, 2006 02:07 PM

You changed the mysql table prefix for vbulletin not the cookie prefix. Please reread that section of install and enter the correct info for your setup.

Try reuploading your files except the config files you have something weird going on there with your footer and top posters being printed even before the page is called to print

now i am getting the error msg:

INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later

i was able to upload a few photos and so were some users but now a few of us are getting this error. any recomandations??

Chuck S January 9th, 2007 12:24 PM

At the top of pp-inc.php above the error_reporting line place this line

ini_set("memory_limit", "40M");

More than likely your using GD2 and your images are large and GD is causing PHP to fail

fourq January 9th, 2007 08:57 PM

ini_set("memory_limit", "40M");
error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);

like that?

fourq January 9th, 2007 09:12 PM

if i wanted to go to imagemagic can i do it without loosing all the pics already uploaded and how would i do it?
