Will PPP 5.6.2 work with MySQL 5.0.27?

Hello,

my host ask me if he could use the latest 5.0 mySQL Version and if all my software will work with 5.0 Version of mySQL?

Could some one confirm that for

PPP 5.6.2 and vBulletin 3.6.4?

As far as Photopost we work on MYSQL 5.0 that we see. I dont know if any normal server has version 5.0.27 but it should work fine.
