Hi Chuck,
yes sorry. i was the "pyro" - so my URL is http://www.feuerwerk-forum.de/album/
I was talking about two things:
1.) comshow (!) sometimes shows the first line of first comment in all other following comments. This happens randomly only
2.) search in comments:
as I linked the original photopost gallyery http://www.photopost.com/photopost/s...p?searchid=326
you can see it does not depend on my installation.
Furthermore in your own gallery the same happens:
searching in comments gives a correct result set with correct thumb and correct comment. But then -> clicking on the thumb to get to the picture gives an error.
(see in your example http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=535
eg photos 1 + 3)
So, thanks again for taking part at discussion.

search.php lines 113 and 181 change $getphoto[id] to $getphoto[photo] Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I can not see an issue with comshow only the search comments as noted.

Thank you Chuck, that's it! When you tell Michaal you can please tell him btw too that few lines later there are still some hardcoded phrases "next page/previous page". Many thanks!
So, the problem with the repeated first line in comshow looks like shown in my attachment. It does not come always, but quite often... Sometimes, as seen in attachment, it concatinates comment on comment on comment - but from different photos...
I have no guess, what this could be...
Thank you for your time!

Righto, someone reported that earlier and we're patching for it in the next update.

Ok, thanks a lot, Michael!
Right now I am happy to have 5.62 installed. It is always a drama of days to change the little details in PP, which simply do not fit in layout or are somewhere hardcoded.
But it runs perfectly stable and has lots of functions...
Thank you for your support and time, Chuck and Michael!

Sorry for disturbing again.
The search problem was not that easy:
With your lines [photo] instead of [id] in 113 and 181, Chuck, the search in comments works fine - but the normal search in titles and descriptions now fails. But with the origional 5.62 version the later worked fine, but searching in comments failed.
So we need a check what search was performed, somehow.
Please?!
Thanks a lot!

Actually, Chuck's post is incomplete; the searchtype has to be checked to work in both situations.
line 113 should be replaced with: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
and (now) 189: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Thank you so much Michael, it works fine now!
BTW - one not that important question:
What exactly is the difference between - search title and description
- search all fields
I would say last one is "title, description + comments" but I never managed to proof it. It always looks like the same as "title and description" without comments.
But forget it,
thanks again,
have a nice Christmas and a safe New Years Eve!

All fields includes the keywords, image name and "extra" fields (not the custom extras, mind you).
