Thumbnails after upgrade

Ok, I just upgraded from 5.3 to 5.6.2 and now all my thumbnails look like, well, like doo doo. The top half of all thumbnails is chopped off and fuzzy (like the static you see on a TV when the station has quit broadcasting for the night). The bottom half of the thumbs look fine. I tried re-building thumbs but that did not help. What am I doing wromg? (I use Imagmagik by the way)

UPDATE: I figured out it is not the thumbnails themselves that are messesup it is the borders. When I select to have a border, no matter what it is, it causes the whole picture to be messed up. The link I provided I'll leave it set to the "Photo" border until you look at it so you can see what I mean.

UPDATE - Ok, I fixed it. I simply re-uploaded all the files in the new "images" directory and it all looks fine. Now the only problem I have is that it wont let me upload pictures.. I have a separate thread about that issue. Thanks
