Fresh Photopost Install Error

Hello! I'm attempting to install photopost for the first time ever. This is a brand new standalone installation, not attached to any forum.

I was excited and all seemed to go smoothly until Step 4: Configuring PhotoPost. I entered the admin username and paswword, made sure all fields were filled in correctly, then hit the configure photopost button after which I got, "I cannot connect to the Users database."

I'll be floating on clouds if I succeed in installing my first photopost script after two previous licenses and many years as a client.
This is my challenge for the day.

I wonder if leaving the 123456 number in the VB license field on the previous page could have anything to do with it.

Please help!

Hmmm.. just took a look at the photopost index page and all links point to domain.com. Where can I change that?

Oh and this is on a dedicated linux server with php 4.4.4

seems to me your domain name is not being translated

Did you set the domain name on install? I know sometimes people forget this

You can view the settings table in phpmyadmin to see the url stored there and change it

ugggh! I looked in there and almost passed out. I was hoping to get this done quickly, but I'll just hire someone to complete it.

Thanks!
