Not able to view "Gallery" link in VB3.6.4

Hi,

I installed VB 3.6.4 (latest version) after a crash and then purchased PhotoPost PHP with the intent that I could use it for uploading MPG video files to my site.

Two issues. #1 - I got it installed OK, am not receiving any errors, no database connectivity problems, everything is working - until - I try to upload files. I get the message, "Sorry, you don't have permission to upload photos" even when logged on as the Administrator. I've set all my permissions, CHMODed everything that's in the install instructions as required. I'm not sure what the problem is.

#2 - When I'm on my VB forums, I don't get a link to the Gallery in the menu. What do I need to enable to get the Gallery link to show up? What is it that I need to enable in VB to allow this?

Documentation on each of the features is almost non-existant. Reading through some of the items in the Admin menu - I have no idea what they do. The documentation should be written so that there is a complete description of what every function does, no matter how simple or difficult it might be. I keep seeing links to the so-called documentation, but there isn't anything really other than an installation document.

What I want to achieve is a way of storing MPG video TV themes for my TV themes site - http://www.tvtalkforums.ca (http://www.tvtalkforums.ca/photopost for the Gallery). I'd like to be able to change every instance of the word "Photo" or "Photos" with the word "Video" or "Videos". Is this possible?

1. You need to set permissions in admin => edit usergroups

2. we do not alter vbulletin in any way. You would need to add a link yourself say in your navbar template of vb

You can edit your language files english.php in the languages directory and change the wording of photo to video in the strings
