Preparing to move files...

I seem to be stuck on this screen. The status bar is not showing any activity. I have about 10,000 pictures in my gallery. I am upgrading from 4.8.2 and this is the second step. Could my upgrade have possibly locked up?

By the way

I am running the newest versions of redhat linux, php and mysql. I had everything upgraded 2 weeks ago.

This is a dedicated server under my control.

It has been an hour now and still nothing. It said on the page before that 10,000 pictures could take 5 minutes or more. An hour is a big stretch from 5 minutes. Is this normal to be on this screen for so long while it appears that nothing is happening?

well looking at your site your templates are corrupt or something here cause nothing shows try reuploading them

I look at your site and do not understand why I see the page you are showing there something is strange indeed. You should see an error message not that page.

could I please get some insight on how long this step takes. I am still on this same screen and it has been almost 6 hours. Do things take this long? My data folder was tar'd and it was over a gig and a half.

I'm not going to upload templates in the middle of this thing going. Is my upgrade screwed? Where do I go from here?

If you look now the gallery looks much better. But I am still on this same step. there's no images just default thumbnail pics. But it doesn't look corrupted like it did before

well I ordered a professional upgrade. hopefully someone at photopost can fix this. I followed everything correctly and I don't now why this didn't work. It's not like I've never updated this software before. I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me about my order.
