Question Upgrade to PHP5 breaks spider friendly URLs

I am running PP Pro 5.31. Spider friendly URLs were working fine until we upgraded from PHP4 to PHP5. Now spider friendly URLs in Photopost have stopped working completely.

Is there anything about the 5 version of PHP that could break spider friendly URLs in PhotoPost pro? Can anyone suggest something to look for? I'm not getting any error messages, except for the one about the photo not being in the database that others have gotten when their server doesn't support spider friendly URLs.

The mystery is that everything was working fine before the upgrade to PHP5.

Any ideas?

Yes, all of the needed settings are on as found in other threads on the forum, including cgi.fix_pathinfo.

The issue might be related to PHP running as a CGI, but it was running that way in 4.x and it worked fine with the search engine URLs. With 5.x it has stopped working.

Can you think of any other issues that might cause the search engine friendly urls to break going from PHP4 to PHP5?

For our spider urls to work the only thing I know is your apache must be setup to AcceptPathInfo On
