MySQL options choosing problem.

Hi,
I have a “vbulletin 3.6” forum which is already over 300MB, recently a move from another server and database size was a difficult issue.
I will be very appreciated to hear some thoughts about what way to choose, install Photopost on the existing "forum" database, or create new one especially for Photopost?
What difference it will be, in size, in the management, in the users part, server loads and any hidden- not an obvious details?
Anxious to install…
Thanks in advance.
Alexei

With a database that size I would suggest to install Photopost in its own database as the larger it is the slower it is
