| "Invalid login" w/fresh install and integration
I just completed a fresh install of UBB7 and a fresh install of PhotoPost 5.5 and integrated the external user registration. My forums work fine but I cannot login to my PhotoPost admin or user account. I get the following error when trying to log in: " Invalid login. Please check your username and password, or register. "
I have gone over the installation and database set-up a dozen times. HELP! I am ready to put my head through a wall.

Yeah, that works just nifty. My boards and PhotoPost are stock too! Here's the odd thing, (on my site) if I try to log in using an existing user name from my forums, I get the error. I THOUGHT the install and integration was supposed to bring over the database from the forums. I obviously did something wrong. I CAN create a new user though. The PhotoPost register link brings me to the UBB registration page. It the existing users that don't work so good. http://www.forddoctorsdts.com/photopost
Do you use support tickets? Do you fix install screw-ups? I don't mind payin!

If new users are fine make sure your database info is correct cause you might have it pointing to the wrong forum database as in maybe you have two forum databases
This is the type of info you need to see about.

I got into the admin page and some of the settings I had made were not correct. I am going to try downloading version 5.5 and try a fresh install. I guess I am too stupid to figure this out.

well then you need to if you got in just recheck your settings and correct as necessary. You can always view settings in the settings table of phpmyadmin also

Now I am finding problems with my UBB login. What I NEED TO DO is get up, leave my computer until I am in a better frame of mind.
Apparently the problem runs deeper than what we are discussing. Chuck, I apologize for wasting your time and thank you for trying. Like I said, I need to walk away from this for a while.

Not so fast... I can get into PhotoPost as any member IF I am logged in on my forum and go to it, but I still get the error if I go to the PhotoPost login screen and try logging in. It shows that there are nine hundred and something members and the four photos I uploaded.
Another problem I have is that PhotoPost won't pull over the Forums styles despite setting it to do so. I noticed on your test install that PhotoPost looked like the default UBB7 style. Looked good by the way. Chuck, I am at the end of my rope! You keep hinting that I need to recheck my settings but they look good to me

well Your issue seems to surround your login and no one else and you said you cant get into your forum either
Hense which is why I say it is coming from the forum not Photopost. As far as your style did you have a default ubbthreads style inputted? If you did not input a default threads style it is not going to grab anything http://www.forddoctorsdts.com/forums/styles/_.css
See the code here so based on this your default threads style is empty Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

I knew I wasn't going crazy. Apparently, for whatever reason, some of the information I had entered during the initial set-up was either missing or was different from what I had entered. (i.e. missing forward slashes between directories and sub directories or path names reverted back to default) I corrected all those by CAREFULLY reading and editing them in the PhotoPost Admin Settings. Perhaps my server is screwing with me?
Anyway, back to the Forum style issue. I entered the .css filename for my UBBT7 forums in the initial configuration but when I select YES to "Use Integrated forum style sheets?" in the Forum settings menu, all of my pages (except the admin pages) lose all basic formatting like tables, borders, table header backgrounds and text formatting. I mentioned that settings were not taking from my initial configuration, could that be the reason for the style file information to be missing from the code you have just above? What file do I need to have the forum style _.css entered in? ...and how do I enter it? File only, path, full URL?

On step 4 of install you specify the default stylesheet name for ubbthreads just the name no css on the end. If I remember its like setting 156 or so in the settings table. Yours is empty so there is nothing to grab
