Question Easiest way to upgrade 5.3 -> 5.5?

What is the easiest way to do this upgrade. Which files do I need to upload? Does the install.php recognise the previous settings?
Any thing to be mindfull of?
Note that I'm a noob.

Upgrade instructions are included in the documentation folder of the download.

You basically upload all the files except the config files and run upgrade.php and select every upgrade ONCE FROM THE VERSION YOUR RUNNING TO THE PRESENT VERSION.

Hi.

Should templates and uploads directory be replaced aswell ?

For sure Data has to remain as it is, but I am not sure to replace all other existing files and directories.

I already filled the 2 config files with the necesary data, should I replace absolutely everything and just leave data directory intact ?

Thanks.

templates directory - yes
uploads, no.

Again, look at the CHANGELOG file in the docs directory to see which files need to be replaced.
