slow to add comments?

We have had this issue for a few months now it seems...

BUT..... we have lots of viewership due to the many comments on HOW LONG it takes to leave comments on the site....

we have just upgraded with THE LATEST build as of 1:30pm ET today to PP 5.5

I just took a screen shot that it took nearly 18 SECONDS to leave one comment... I'm on cable even... any input/suggestions on speeding this up or what to check into?

I'd need to know more about your setup/integration and a possible link to consider what might be causing it.
