Photopost work with php5?

I'm transferring to a new host (ASO) that uses native PHP version 5. I hope to setup my new vBulletin installation with PHP 5. Will Photopost work if I do?

Thanks,
David

I believe all the changes necessary are present in the patest version of PP; there were some issues on the install.php script which have since been addressed. So, you shouldn't have any problems if you are current.

I was having tons of problems installing Photopost until I added this line to my .htaccess file:

AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php

It's a brand new installation of vBulletin, latest version, and a new installation of PhotoPost Pro. I was receiving errors after the install finally went through and couldn't get it to work so I started over. Now, it won't install at all... it says it can't locate mogrify.exe, yet the path is the same as when it went through successfully.

The path to mogrify on my server is usr/bin/mogrify. The string is correct in the config file. Anyone have any idea why the script can't see the executable?

well the addition to your htaccess just seems like your server needed to be setup for PHP so thats unrelated to Photopost

As far as the variable not being found some servers do not allow access to the file especially if it was not installed properly to be shared. Directions to correctly install mogrify are here

http://www.photopost.com/installphp.html

I would suggest you simply just install normal and then test to see if mogrify works for photo upload after you install. If not then try reinstalling mogrify or use GD2 to upload photos

Hey Sybaris, yea I use A Small Orange as my host. They're fantastic for support.

I contacted the host and apparently there was something that needed to be added to the server to recognize index.php5 as a valid extension Photopost doesn't work though, I get this message when going to the photopost root:

Warning: require(./global.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ennergi/public_html/photopost/header- inc.php on line 65

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5-fcgi/lib/php') in /home/ennergi/public_html/photopost/header-inc.php on line 65
