| Moved to new server now problem
Just moved to new server same hosting company. Also upgrade to 5.5 and now I am getting the following errors in photopost admin panel (also receive many of the same errors when I asked the script to rebuild thumbnails. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Any idea or help as to what I need to do to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated ? Several of my thumbnails and a few of the pics are not showing up (just the default thumbnail).
New problem, now all my pics seemed to have vanished ! Checked data folder and they are still there by not showing at all ??

If you moved servers you need to update your config files with any new server paths. Once that is done you should be able to sign in and in global options in admin correct your data and uploads paths to the new paths and then in storage options hit revert and save twice to load the new paths.

Thanks for the reply... the revert in storage options fixed the error messages, however, now I have no photo or views ? Quote:

well if you tried to run a rebuild in scan database while your image path was wrong you deleted all the image inserts. You need to restore a backup of the photopost photos table.

Yeah, I did a scan database... I'm not very good at restoring tables but at least I have a back up... I give it a try.
Thanks for the quick reply.

I've restored photo table and got most of the pictures back, but now while I've got thumbnails again the pics themselves are missing and I get the following error message at the top of the page when you click on the thumbnail: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Any ideas as to where I need to go next to fix this latest problem. I really didn't think changing servers within the same hosting company would be such a pain!

This tells me there is a problem trying to run the standard query for showphoto so nothing is going to appear. You tried to upgrade right well I would suggest in Admin => Global options you set debug setting to display errors so when logged in as admin you see the true error so we know what is wrong.

Set to debug to show error, clicked on a thumbnail here it the result: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Does this help? Not sure what to do about "unknown column 'allowrate' in field list. Do I need to change the setting which allows users to rate pics ? |

You need to run your 5.3 to 5.5 upgrade script

I had already run the script but I guess with the move it didn't take or something was lost. Ran the upgrade script and wow, everything works!
Thanks for your help you guys do a great job.
