Error creating thumbnails

I am trying to do a bulk upload and i get this error message

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

Command:

redownload the build and reupload image-inc.php

I had the same problem, followed the solution - the script was able to execute, but instead it took down the entire server and goofed up the sql.

Is there something more in-depth I could look into than just re-uploading that file? I'm slightly reticent to go through that again.

what do you mean by this?

There should be nothing that takes down sql. worst case scenerio with this error is no image is processed and you dont even get to a photo insert
