Install problem

Hi guys,
I have installed my photopost and it appears to be ok but when i try and integrate the headers footers and styles i get the following errors when i try to open up the index url.

Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in /mounted-storage/home8/sub004/sc15647-BGUZ/picpostlive/photopost/header-inc.php on line 64

Warning: main(./global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mounted-storage/home8/sub004/sc15647-BGUZ/picpostlive/photopost/header-inc.php on line 65

I think i must have the wrong path somewhere but have been checking for about 6 hrs now and its doing my head in, any help would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks
Graham

On last step of the install it asks for the vbulletin path. So edit config-int.php and set the $vbpath to the correct server path to your vbulletin and your good to go.

any ideas
Graham

turn off the vbulletin 2 or vbportal 2 stuff. Your not integrating with those.

gunnergraham September 29th, 2006 07:46 AM

Yes i know they are off already only vB3 switched on

Chuck S September 29th, 2006 07:55 AM

Yes and on the $vbpath line your server path to the forums is incorrect

You path would be something like this I assume

/mounted-storage/home8/sub004/sc15647-BGUZ/picpostlive/forums

Hi again
i must be missing something then as it says that path is for vB2 portal integration and if vB2 is enabled then i would have to put the path in. However there is no mention of entering that path if its for vB3 ?

I tried it anyway and it still gives the same errors.

Best regards

At the top of the config-int.php file is a variable called $vbpath and you input the correct server path to vbulletin. You then turn on the 3 vb3 options.

Ok Chuck
have done as you said and that pretty much puts its back to how it was when i first posted but it still wont work. Are you sure that is the cause of the errors i am getting

I am 100% abolutely sure that if you get the error your posting that your vbulletin server path is incorrect if you turn on the enhanced vb integration and you get that error.

If you do a search on this forum for that error you will see the answer is all the time the same to correct it

Thanks Chuck

Finaly got it, i had a mistake in the path .. as i said above i am a webdummy.

best regards
Graham
