Fresh Install

I removed my photopost after doing complete backup of all data. So I could do a fresh install. set up config-int and inc. in notepad before doing install.php
deleted all database files for fresh start.

Made it to step #4 of install.php and now get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: init_user_groups() in /home2/chatter/dollchatter-www/photopost/install.php on line 1351

Can someone help please.

Jose

Make sure your uploading all the files in your photopost program. Your missing your forums subdirectory integration file.

with the error your posting your integration file does not exist in the forums subdirectory. I am telling ya your vb3.php file is not there or corrupt. Reupload that directory

yes it is there......but it is empty....not your problem . as per my last post. I now know that i am having problems with my ws ftp upload program...folders are uploading but are empty... I'am checking all uploaded folders now to make sure they are not 0(Zero) in size.. the forums vb3 folder reads zero even though it is up on the server... Thanks.

ok

ok uploaded the missing files. deleted all the data tables and did a fresh install. The install went perfectly. .............Now i don't want my members to have there galleries to lock up because of the picture size's. Please tell me the size setting that will work best.. or do I just leave at default?. If you remember(with all you have to do####) My members were uploading a file too!!!! big and it was locking up there folder and giving them an empty page. I would have to delete there I.D. folder and have them start again. Any suggestions Chuck????

Thanks a million Jose

I would suggest if your new server has imagemagick (mogrify ) you use that instead of GD2 that should solve PHP memory issues.

thanks

I had to go back to G2 because my registration block( to keep out auto bots) that they had to read and copy to complete registartion dissapeered when I upgraded to the new VB. No one could register because the box would not show up with Imagemagic.
Jose

If you removed all photopost files there is no way to have that error in vbulletin because it is referencing a photopost file'

Now usually when one sees that error it means you have trailing space after the closing PHP tag ?>

Make sure to delete any characters or space in the referenced file and try again.
