try this post but you might want to raise it to 48M and clear the users uploads directory

This problem is new to me since upgrading to 5.5.
I have added
ini_set("memory_limit", "48M"); to uploadphoto.php and pp-inc.php.
My usergroups are set to unlimited.
upload_max_filesize=20Mb

Do I need to delete all of my empty directories in my upload directory next?

You can try clearing your uploads directory sure.

You can configure Imagemagick on your server if you have shell access

I did that and now I get the following errors

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Edit: The two may have nothing to do with each other.

You need to specify in admin edit integration the proper server path to your vbulletin integration

Double checked. It's correct. The thing is it worked a few days ago and I haven't touched any files.

Edit: Problem resolved by host. Host had enabled php open_basedir protection on the server. They have now excluded it and all is good.

Now I am back to the original problem.
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
added ini_set("memory_limit", "48M"); to uploadphoto.php and pp-inc.php.
Cleared out my uploads/ directory.

Anything I should ask my host that might be different?

Switched to Imagemagick and all is good. Odd that all of the sudden it stopped working when using GD2.
