Can't login to admin

When I attempt to login to the admin page I get redirected to the main index. If I am already logged in as admin in the main forum page and attempt to login it says "You are not a valid administrator or moderator!"

I have already manually updated the pp_settings table to reflect bb as the cookie prefix. I also had to update a number of other settings in this table as some of the settings entered during the install script process did not take.

The url is www.prophotohome.com/forum/photopost

Thanks,
Drew

view your pp_usergroups table do you have an admin entry in it in the photopost database?

If not run this query

Re: Admin Login

Thanks. The table was empty. Did the insert and now am into the admin panel.

I do have to wonder though why so many things didn't take during the install. When this happens are there typically other things that didn't take or is that about the extent of the manual processes needed?

Thanks, again.

Drew

No hes right. A lot of install setting are not setup properly in the admin panel. Most notably is that urls are missing '/' after the photopost folder and look like .. www/photopostdata .. instead of www/photopost/data where are these table setting you guys are talking about?
