Clear out path in global options for jpegtran. You can not use links outside your own directory structure

Link now on navbar, thanks Chuck. Just the one more error to solve immediately after upload, but upload still happens.

Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/bin/jpegtran) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/carandim/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/carandim/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 560

Sorry, didn't notice your reply on the next page.

It is telling you that open_basedir is set and you can not run files outside your directory structure so in global options of photopost remove the jpegtran and jhead lines and you will need to be using GD2 as your image processor.

Question

my cookies are set to the defaults for both PPP and VB 3.61
When I use the navbar link to the gallery I have to log in again.

What can I look for?

well lets see probally the obvious

Your cookie domain should be set in both apps to this

.domain.com

If your gallery url is with or without a www and say your forum is the other way and you do not have the cookie domain set as noted you will have to login again since cookies are absolute

www.domain.com means just that

domain.com means just that

.domain.com is readable throughout any subdomain of the site
