Okay, in upgrading I made sure the config-inc.php file was correct, uploaded everything, started out the steps and came up with this:

here: {$Globals['maindir']}/member.php?ppaction=chgpass Thanks! The {$Globals['webname']} Team {$Globals['domain']}"; $Globals['pp_lang']['enewesub'] = "New temporary {$Globals['webname']} password"; // image-inc.php $Globals['pp_lang']['euplimg'] = "{$User['username']} has uploaded one or more photos to your gallery. If approval is required, visit the admin panel: Image name: {$realname} Title: {$title} Size: {$imagesize} Keywords: {$keywords} Description: {$desc} Link to image: {$Globals['maindir']}/showphoto.php?photo={$lastphotoid} {$Globals['maindir']}/adm-index.php"; $Globals['pp_lang']['euplsub'] = "{$Globals['webname']} photo upload(s)"; $Globals['pp_lang']['subnotify'] = "{$User['username']} has uploaded one or more photos to a category you subscribe to. Image name: {$realname} Title: {$title} Description: {$desc} Link to image: {$Globals['maindir']}/showphoto.php?photo={$lastphotoid} To turn off subscriptions for this category, click on the following link: {$Globals['maindir']}/misc.php?action=subscribe&sub={$thecat} The {$Globals['webname']} Team {$Globals['domain']}"; $Globals['pp_lang']['emsubscr'] = "{$Globals['webname']} photo upload notification"; // ecard.php $Globals['pp_lang']['ecardsent'] = "{$rname}, {$yname} has sent you an e-Card from {$Globals['webname']}. You can view your card here: {$Globals['maindir']}/ecard.php?view={$cardid} And you can email {$yname} directly at {$yemail}. Thanks! {$Globals['domain']}"; $Globals['pp_lang']['ecardsub'] = "{$yname} sent you an e-Card"; $Globals['pp_lang']['returnrec'] = "{$fromname}, {$toname} has read the eCard you sent. You can view your card here: {$Globals['maindir']}/ecard.php?view={$thiscard} The {$Globals['webname']} Team {$Globals['domain']}"; $Globals['pp_lang']['returnsub'] = "{$toname} has read your eCard"; ?>
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/.fedor/digidream/thedigidreamer.com/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 199
I cannot connect to the ReviewPost database. [$php_errormsg]

• Why in the last line is it trying to connect to the ReviewPost database when I've got Photopost?

• Is there a forum to post for professional help that might be able to just do this for me? I'm obviously having problems that I can't fix on my own! lol

You can always purchase an install if your looking for someone to fix a broken photopost.

I think your trying to do two many things at once here personally cause your posts jump from one site initially to now another and then to a 3rd party script. You have not really listed what your really trying to do.

However If I can digest what I think your doing you are trying to convert a phpbb forum to vbulletin and then resync photopost with the vb forum.

You might want to purchase an install for us to correct photopost I take it you all have already done your phpbb to vbulletin stuff which is outside our product stuff

That's correct. Will purchasing the install be a problem--photopost 5.0 was on there with a lot of posts, now I've loaded the upgraded files--will they be able to fix it with posts in tact?

we will need to see where you are. If you have backups of the photopost tables you should be fine.

I do have backups. I guess I'll have to go ahead and purchase the install because I'm not figuring it out.

I'm assuming that I purchase an upgrade vs the installation?

I'm trying to buy the installation package but I think it's going to be "custom"--I can't use the contact form--it keeps saying there was an error in the submission.

So I thought I'd post it here:
My site (liddysloft.com) has merged with another site (thedigidreamer.com) in doing so I updated their phpbb to vB3 just fine. They've had Photopost 5.0 and I've tried to update it to my license/version--the latest. In doing so, I got a ton of errors.
What I would need is an installation/upgrade that is integrated with vB3.

http://www.thedigidreamer.com/forums/index.php

http://www.thedigidreamer.com/gallery/index.php

Is this possible and how much $$ would it cost?

Thank you,
Holley
