Angry Installed and now its tempremental

i installed VB, CMPS, and PP on my dev server.

ran thru every possible scenerio i could think of as to why this is happening and the only thing i can think of is that VBA CMPS and PP are conflicting somewhere.

heres what happens.

do a fresh install and get nothing (blank page) so i go thru and look at all the options and how they are set to default. the onlything i see is on PhotoPost Integration Administration page. all VB# intergration is turned on. so i turn it all off. I have my PP gallery working. http://mysite/photopost

then i go and install a mod to actually PUT photos on the home page. Locks up again and nothing but the white page. so i disable the mod. gallery is back. so pretty much as long as PP is not intergrated and the mods are all turned off, everything works fine. so now im left thinking....WTF? did i just blow 130 bucks for something that SHOULD be simple to install and configure on a dev server so i dont EFF up my regular site?

any and all comeents, suggestions and support would be GREATLY appreciated at this point no matter how relevant they are to solving the problem, as long as they pertain to doing so. (no calling of the dumbass name please)

Thanks in advance.

-Matt

You need to set the proper server path to vbulletin in edit integration if you get a white page it is incorrect. recheck and you will see I am right.

For the forum photo block here are the instructions

http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122207

specifically read about what happens if you have separate databases and make sure the server path to the included file is correct.

ok heres what i got ... you tell me if its right and if its not ill change it. still doesnt work this way.

Now in reference to this picture i have tried with AND without the full dev.az.... URL, keeping the data path the EXACT same. still = failure.

the only way anything works is if i turn off the intergration feature. and thats primarily why i bought this in the first place.

Those are wrong those are relative paths you must use full url's and full server paths. I can not tell you what the full path is look at your phpinfo and you can get the full server path

ok give me a minute and ill try that idea. ... do you mean adding http://dev.azsportbikes.org/ etc?

EDIT:
ok heres what happens, i make those changes, turn the mod on and no forum or cmps but the gallery works. .....

and if i turn it off, both work but no pics from mod on the home page.
basically what im trying to accomplish is to have pics on the forum index (with cmps installed) without getting the white page of death. any other ideas?

Your placing url's where it asked for server path. You need to place full server path to the forum and photopost where it asks for server path.

chuck,

i have a few examples for you

1. http://www.azsportbikes.org/gallery

2. http://dev.azsportbikes.org/photopost

3. http://dev.azsportbikes.org/forums

#1 needs to work EXACTLY like 2 & 3. ALL the settings, paths and options are EXACTLY the same. the only difference between the 2 is the database name. if i change the database name from the live site to the dev site i get all the users and photos. however, on the live site, when i turn intergration ON the gallery does not work at all. i turn it off and i getan outlined, no graphics version of the dev site with no photos and all the users. im thinking for 130 dollars, this shouldnt be THIS complicated to get working on a live site if it can be done sufficiently on a dev site. do you need anadmin account to look and see because i do not plan on spnding my enitre weekend working on this.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:

never mind for now. i guess i jsut had to delete the /gallery from the url. till next itme.

In response as noted by your attachment you must place server paths where asked not url's. Url's are only entered where asked.

Glad you got it sorted
