Customers receiving truncated links

Hi,

I have had new reports of people who are receiving replies when photos are commented on and the link in the message received complete (see below). It is truncated and therefore goes to a gallery message page that says the photo is not in the database.

maggie965 has posted a reply about the following layout:

"Family Treasure"

http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/gal...to.php?layout=

Thanks in advance for your help

Rick

Please replace your files with unmodified files so that we may give you support. Looking at the link below and given the fact there is no such thing as a variable named layout in our files I am going to assume your issue traces to your modification you have done to your files.

Hi Chuck,

I have not made any hacks or modifications to photopost core files other than recently integrating with vBulletin. To my knowledge this has always worked, or at least I have never been notified that it did not.

What files should I compare?

Thanks

Rick

p.s. could it be that I change all english files to replace the word the word "photo" with "layout" throughout the site?

Yes, as photo is also a variable used in the code. You'll need to upload the original files and make sure you don't change $photo variables in the language file (or photo parameters used in URLs).

Thanks Michael,

I went through and did a global word change initially. I don't ususally do that but I guess I was in a hurry. I just went in and found the "$" variables and changed them back to "photo" and all works as it should.

Thanks for the help.
