mysql&admin panel problems
 

Hi all,

Is few days i've landed in this great photopost world, and now i find first problems.

on CP under Manage Albums. notthing is there , a white page, all other options seems to work great, unless sorting where i get this error :

some help pls will be really apreciated

You would have a white page under manage albums if you have no albums

In admin => global options select debug setting to be display errors and then try sorting and see if you can give us an exact error so we can assist you.

I have viewed those lines and see no specific issue. Did you recently upgrade maybe forget to run an upgrade script?

nope...just newby of P.P. bought it just few days back :) and 1st installed on a vb3.6.0

In adm-misc.php try this line change STRING IN BOLD TO INT

I did it sir, but same error (Warning) is there.
If u like I PM u admin login details

resert that line to STRING

Try in adm-misc.php line 3437 this in bold question I would ask is why are you the only one getting this.

ty so much now errors are disappeared. :cool:

a little problem is there (on same page of sorting interface) I can se thumbnails, but if I click on the image name to view it, then a IE page will come out telling me that this page is not availabe.... but images are there and shows up thumbs and in gallery also the larger one.

reguarding why only to me happend? I explain in few words. Do you know Murphy's Laws?? Well, they were expressly written for me :)

I do not get any errors on your site where do you get the errors what are your exact actions

after modifies on adm-misc sort problems are not any more there.
but if u try to
PP Admin panel > order images > click on 1 of 2 demo photos linkname > will get path error. (seems that images were not uploaded on correct location, but they are displayed :S )
by the way, why I had to modify the adm-misc and not using a standard one? is there an error on my installation?

I dont get any errors on order images either sorry appears to be just fine

Sort errors, as I told b4 are disappeared, after applying modifications on adm-misc.php that you suggested me in a previous post.
For curiosity I would like to know why I had to customize that file. There were an issue on my installation, or that is a modification that everybody has to apply for?

Reguarding path errors, I can assure you that I can see them and to me seems to be still there.

Please try on my installation: PP Admin panel > order images > click on "Test" link or on "BE001089ACD" link.
You should get a Not Found Page. "The requested URL /mysubfolder(*)/forum/photopost/data/500/1BE001089ACD.jpg (**) was not found on this server."

(*)changed by me here for privacy, from actual subpath to "mysubfolder".

(**)All this path is incomplete as is missing the root and I guess should be something like /myroot.xyz/mysubfolder*/forum/photopost/data/500/1(***)BE001089ACD.jpg
But I do not know where and how to set that path, on config all seems ok

(***) there is always in both test pictures that 1 trailing the real filename ...could be a reason why it don't find it? ...actually isn't the same file name/path.

Cant say about the other thing or the edit you did as this is nothing I can replicate

... were those 2 modifications i made on the php file just expressly for my case/configuration or are they little bugs and in next package will be fixed?

The second one is a bug that will be fixed for sure
