Can't access admin pages

I have just installed the latest version of PhotoPost and integrated it with my vBulletin 3.5.2 forum. When I am logged-in with my administrator account from the forum I cannot access the admin area of the PhotoPost gallery. When I try to access the adm-index.php page I get the message, "You are not a valid administrator or moderator!" I have tried this with several different administrator and moderator accounts.

What could the problem be?

You need to use an administrator account which belongs to usergroup 6. Only usergroup 6 has admin access on a new install incase your using a special admin account.

The administrator account I am using belongs to usergroup id 6.

Therefore you should have admin access if this is the case

what entries are under the usergroups table in the database?

Dylan Leblanc August 9th, 2006 02:17 PM

The usergroups table is empty. The usergroup id of 6 I refered to earlier is from the usergroup table that vBulletin 3 uses. I presume the problem is because the usergroups table PhotoPost uses is empty. How can I populate the table with the correct data?

I found data for the usergroups table in another thread ( http://www.photopost.com/forum/showp...12&postcount=4 ), and changed the Admin group to usergroup id 6. This got me into the admin area of my PhotoPost installation. I then went into the usergroup options and refreshed usergroups from my forum. I guess this problem is now fixed.

Yep did you by chance specify the wrong table prefix when installing? Just curius why the table was empty ;)

I had the right table prefix. All the other tables were populated during instalation.
