Exclamation Photopost and power outage

Yesterday was installing classifieds and was using photopost to make suer paths and such were right in the setup....had the data base open at the time and was checking settings and backing up the data base, while in there we had a poweroutage here at home....After a couple hours power came back on went to the forum and it was ok went to the gallery and got all sorts of errors, wrong path, 404 and the like....spent all night there and finally got the gallery back. Except for the images. They are there but dont show. The gallery index shows zero images and say 178 comments... the images are in the data folder in their catagories.....Now how do I get them back the backup data base is no good due to the poweroutage......thanks.

In the data base pp_photos is empty this is where they should be right? what i don't understand is why it is empty when wasn't even in there at all. Unless while doing the back up and the power outage messed things up when it was at that part of the back-up.....
Any way to get them back besides a bulk up load? Like i said they are still on the server just not showing in the gallery....comments are there in the db and all the catagoeries

well looks to me like you did a scan database to rebuild thumbs with a bad path in there which will delete all bad entries.

Only way to get photos back is for you to restore a known good backup of the photos table. You should be doing site backups weekly at minimum so just restore one of those backups of that table.
