No Thumbnails or Images After Importing

I recently used the importing script to move my images from my vB gallery to photopost. While it did copy over the correct categories and information, it didn't copy over the images so everything comes up as "no thumbnail" and empty images. I have no idea what to do and haven't seen any solutions in the Importing thread.

You should be recieving lots of errors and more than likely no images are copied because your path or paths to the vbgallery and photopost data folders are incorrect.

that's the thing, the first time i ran it i got lots of errors saying that it was looking for the files/folders in the root and that it couldn't find them there.

When i moved them to the root, I just ran that portion of the importing and it says it imported the images but it didn't.

If your vbgallery and photopost data directories are correct you will see images. If they are not then your going to get errors and then no images when you go to the new photopost.

what errors do you get?

alright, i reinstalled photopost and did the installation step by step and ran the importer again (i also started a new database for photopost to avoid any problems). SO

I ran the importer and after making sure I had the right directories set, it got up to import photos and couldn't find only one image but it stopped and didn't say done or anything, it just stopped. But it still said it imported alot of photos. So then I followed the rest of the instructions for vbag (your vbag post from Feb.) and now this is what my gallery looks like:
http://www.thespeedlounge.com/photopost/

As you can see it shows pictures in the Recent Photos section. Now take note of the category they are in because if I go to 2006 and look at that same category, it tells me that there are no photos in there and if you click on the category from there, it is indeed empty.

I got no error messages besides the one saying it couldn't find one file. What should I do??

Our site is served from Netfirms with a MySQL database. I contacted Netfirms to find out about changing our timeout settings since we currently do not have access to that.
