Error..please help

I am trying to install my photo post and I get the following error:


Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/canohome/public_html/install.php on line 552
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost MySQL server. [host:$host][mysql_user:$mysql_user][mysql_password:$mysql_password]. Check your config-inc.php for the correct settings and rerun.

Can you please help?

I'm a newbie still so I could be completely off here but... Did you enter the correct address, user, and password information to connect to the database? To me it seems like it's saying that you are trying to connect to a local mysql database without a password which I don't think is very common (dont hold me to that tho - like I said - newbie here hehe)... I'm assuming you set up a database with your host (it's where I set mine up with anyways)?

I don't know, php/mysql can be so confusing... I'm sure someone smarter will be along to give yu some real help *blush* I tried to figure it out tho hehe

Yes to install the program in the config section you must enter a correct working order mysql info to connect to the server. Please verify the information your entering here is correct.
