531 and time..and comments

got a couple of little buggers...

1. time in the gallery is -8 hours from proper time say i upload 9 pm today it shows 1 pm today... which throws off the 24 upload amount

2. email notification for comments on images won't notify no matter what you choose on the yes/no option

also using vb 354
thanks again

If I change the 24 hour in line 133 of upload.php to 16 hours would this solve the problem??

Isn't it easier to use the "GMT offset" feature in Global Options? My server is in the US but most of my users are in Europe, this works fine for me.

In your GMT setting in admin yes set this to negate your time back to GMT if integrating with vbulletin or invision which uses GMT exclusively

Most apps use and adjust the server time but these chaps who live in england thing the world revolves around them so they code everything to GMT LOL

Example my server is in mountain time -7 GMT so in my GMT setting I put 7 to negate it back to 0 and let the vb software do the time

Yes on the options you mean when they upload there photo they mark they want notifications?

Can you verify server email is working? you might need to contact your host and see if they have PHP mail enabled some hosts lock it down.

Comments notify will only work if they select when they upload there photo notify to YES or they subscribe physically to the photo by selecting RECIEVE EMAIL UPDATES.

They are not going to be notified unless they select to. Also in your Admin options make sure your electing notifications to happen.

Use email to notify users?
Users can be notified of photo approvals and deletions.

all others select yes to be notified and notify on updates are all selected still nothing...

Now this one the admin panel notifications...the only one I could find was if I (admin) wanted to be notified.....does this need to be yes for all to be notied? and is it for all images or just ones you select to be notified on during upload.

when someone makes a comment then we do this in comments.php and if you are allowing notification your site sends an email. Therefore if this in admin is on below and someone has selected to be notified they will be mailed when a post is made

Allow users to be notified of new posts via email?

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
