vb 3.5.4 integration

Hi all, just installed PhotoPost tonight and can't seem to get it to integrate with vBulletin for some reason. Install is fine, page loads fine but PhotoPost keeps telling me that I'm unregistered although the vB header that is up top says I'm logged in. I'm guessing its a cookie issue although I've been beating my head against the wall for a while now trying to debug it. vB cookie prefix is bb - PhotoPost cookie prefix is bb. vB cookie path is /, PP cookie path is /. When I go to adm-index.php and login with my vBulletin administrator account, it logs me in fine but then I end up at misc.php with PP showing 1 unregistered user browsing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

I would think its a cookie issue. If you know how to use phpmyadmin view the photopost settings table and check out settings 171-173 which are the cookie settings or rerun install.

Basically in your config-inc.php file make sure you have entered the correct vbulletin license number.

Then in your vbulletin admin cookie settings and in the Photopost cookie settings make them this

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain .domain.com

We just converted a leased license into an owned license on vB, so if you need to make sure the license number is correct then I suspect this could be the problem. Are you checking against actual vB licenses or whats inside of the config.php file? I did notice that even though we have an owned license now, all of my files still reflect the old license information in the header.

The license number would need to be the correct license number set within the vb files especially when they authenticate the user so make sure you upload the owned license files of vb and change the photopost config to reflect the correct license number

The user password for authentication is a mix of user password cookie prefix and vblicense number so if your prefix or license number is wrong then you will have issues.

Working like a beauty now, thanks! That was it, once I changed all of the license numbers over in the .php files in vB to our new license, all is well. Appreciate the help!
