| install.php internal server error
Hello,
When trying to run install.php I'm getting a internal server error. I uploaded all files and dir and set permissions correctly.
Here is the exact error. Quote:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@stargateforum.mckinleyproducts.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/1.3.34 Server at www.stargateforum.net Port 80
| Its located at http://www.stargateforum.net/gallery
I have reread the installation docs three times and can not see what I'm missing. I'm really confused here on why my install.php file will not work. A little sad here :-(
any ideas?

Okay that has to be something with your server as on most PHP setups default 644 is fine for php files.

You might want to check your image processor out looks to me like thumbnails are not being created. Try out GD2 if Imagemagick is giving you problems.

I see that, and have it set to use GD2.
When uploading a image I get this message. Quote: |
Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/mckinl3/public_html/stargateforum/gallery/image-inc.php on line 74
| not sure if there is anything I can do about this.
I run coppermine on a different site but same server and it uses GD2 and creates thumbnails ok. It appears to be the command exec used is not allowed.
Any suggestions.

Hello You must be using Imagemagick then as exec is only used for Imagemagick.
In Admin => Global Options select GD2 as your image processor.

I selected G2 durring the instalation but after the instalation when uploaded my first image I got three or four exec errors. I then went in the admin and checked the settings and noticed it was set to image magic. I changed it to GD2 and then uploaded the image again and now I get only one exec error. the one on line 74. I went back into the admin globals and It is set to GD2 for image integration.
Do I need to reset something or restart something?

What are these two fields? Should these be blank? I have a path in both of them. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
