Can't Upload Photos I get this error message... "/usr/bin/X11/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 100x100 -quality 70 -geometry 100x100 -unsharp 10 '/homepages/31/d118847662/htdocs/digidiva/photopost/data/500/thumbs/6-Months-SFS.jpg' I am using the latest VB and PP software. My gallery is here. Please help! ~Ashley |
Now, I have this error because I changed from ImageMagick to GD2. Unable to create image [/homepages/31/d118847662/htdocs/digidiva/photopost/uploads/1/6-Months-SFS.jpg]. Please contact system administrator. |
Hello If you moved hosts or something to that effect I suggest you view your phpinfo and check to ensure the path to your photopost is correct. If it is not you can change this in global options in admin. Also check the permissions on the uploads and data directories to ensure that they are set at every level to 777. |
No, I didn't change hosts. I just meant that I changed my options from Image Magick to GD2. That is what phpinfo says I have so, I figured that was safer to go with. Does that change your answer? |
Nope it does not. Your permissions are not set on the uploads directory it would appear and if so you might also check your data directory as well http://www.photopost.com/installphp.html |
Ok, one more question then...I see everyone using the terms 777, 755, etc. When I connected via ftp, in a browser, I right click and there are 9 boxes I can check or uncheck. How do I know which is 777, 755, etc.? Thank you so much, Chuck! Oh, and one other thing...if I set the permissions and then, say, make a change to my website and reupload does that reset the permissions? Because I had already changed the permissions and I am wondering if they changed back because of a web update. |
You must change the permissions at every level not just the top level uploads and data. Checking all 9 boxes would be 777. Permissions should not change once set unless there is a update by your host on the server where they knock permissions back. |
Now, I am getting this error. What's weird, though, is that other people are able to upload with no problems whatsoever! Any ideas? Unable to create image [/homepages/31/d118847662/htdocs/digidiva/photopost/uploads/1/4_Months_Anne_Geddes-SFS.jpg]. Please contact system administrator. |
Hello Check your uploads 1 directory and ensure it is 777 permissions. |
Hail All Hail Chuck B=0 You Da Man Now onto Reviews and Classifeds Unstallation lol |
I have checked and everything is 777. I am the admin and it won't work. Any other ideas? |
This message appears at the very top of the gallery after it redirects me... Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg(): '/homepages/31/d118847662/htdocs/digidiva/photopost/uploads/1/6-Months-SFS.jpg' is not a valid JPEG file in /homepages/31/d118847662/htdocs/digidiva/photopost/image-inc.php on line 99 |
Ok, I checked the directory AGAIN and it is as it should be according to the installation manual. I also looked at line 99 in the code it referred to. It looks as it should. This is what it says. case 2: $src_img = ImageCreateFromJpeg($image_file_path); break; Please help me. I will even PM you my ftp information so that you can see. I don't know what could be wrong. |
Oh my Lord, I got a photo on there! Woo Hoo! This is what fixed it for me... I was hitting the top of the two upload/submit buttons that appear on the screen. When I hit the bottom one, it works! Who knew!! ******Ok, so I lied. I got three photos on there. Some I uploaded via a URL and one from a DVD I have. Now, I can't upload again and I am getting that same stupid error. Help, please! |
