After upgrading according to your instructions (double checked!), I've got this error when entering domain.com/gallery:
Quote:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare update_whoonline() (previously declared in /path to/gallery/pp-inc.php:3976) in /path to/gallery/forums/vb3.php on line 520
any ideas?

Andreas

You didnt upload the forums/vb3.php file from the build.

Oh yes, I did, definitely; just checked it again!

You need to upload all the main php files except those noted and all the files specified in this thread and things should work accordingly.

The update_whoonline function moved from the vb3.php to the pp-inc.php file; it shouldn't be in the vb3.php that you get from the build.

I've uploaded vb3.php again and also the index.htm in the same folder and now it works.

Thanks a lot for your patience! I have no idea why it's that complicated for my site :o !

Can i ask... would it be ok if i waited for the new features to be released and upgrade my gallery then? shouldn't be any problem should it...

No, you don't have to upgrade; it's simply a rollup of fixes posted to any issues reported to date and some new code formatting with speed improvements.

If you don't have any problems and are happy with your current 5.3 setup, 5.31 is not necessary.

quickrate and rate option not visible

After I upgraded from 5.3 to 5.31, the quickrate and the rate option are no longer visible. Rating is set to "yes" in the ACP. Please advise. Thanks.

EDIT: Never mind. Just realized I am looking at my own uploaded photo :p .

When I try to create a new cat, I am getting this error now:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: convert_html() in /home/thephoto/public_html/progallery/adm-cats.php on line 114

As a general rule of thumb, it's best to start a new thread for issues because if they get buried in "general" thread announcing an update they may get overlooked.

Make sure you updated all your files and if the problem persist, start a new thread.
