Question Cookie problem after install?

Hello,

Im installing Photopost on a fresh new forum install. It seemed to install fine but theres a few off things going on. It seems that now the cookie isnt refreshing unless I hit "refresh". If I log in on the forum and go to photopost it will show e as not logged in. If I hit refresh then it shows me as logged in. If I log out in the gallery and go to the forum it still shows me as logged in. If I hit refresh it then shows me as logged out.

Also, when im in logged out state, the images in the header while in the gallery do not work, and also point to the wrong location. For example, when logged in my header image points to /forum/, when logged out it points to /gallery/. All of the other header links also point to the wrong area when logged out.

Any idea what may be going on?

I changed both your cookie domains to .mickeytalk.com other than that I see no issues. I logged into the apps and was logged into them both

Hmm.....

Now when I try to log in it says "Thank ou for logging in" then goes right back to the closed screen.

Also, if you look at the gallery when logged out you should see the images / links are pointing to the wrong place.

I wonder if this is an issue related to IE7 beta..... I am going to uninstall it and try again. I cleared the cookies and the login part is working fine now, but when logged out on the gallery it was still showing the images as broken and the navbar links pointing to the /gallery/ folder instead of the /forum/ folder.

I uninstalled IE7 so that would get out of the pic.

Here is where things seem to stand.

In IE6: I can log in and out of the forum fine. If I am logged into the forum and visit the gallery it initially shows me as not logged in. If I refresh then it sees me as logged in and works.

If I am NOT logged in and go to the gallery, the header links are not working. (register, faq, the login button, etc) They are trying to point to the gallery folder. For example, if I try to log in at the gallery it tries to access /gallery/login.php to process the login. 404. The images seem to try to pull from the gallery folder as well when not logged in.

In Firefox: In FF the cookies seem to be working ok. FF processes cookies alittle differentI think anyways. The cookie seems to pass over correctly the first time.

However, when logged out on the gallery screen the links and images still appear as they do in IE. Pointing to the wrong place and broken.

I havent done anything to cookies for my browser such as not allowing them. Its doing the same thing in Firefox. Take a peek at the pics...
